Inter Arma received and translated: Today, Monday 4/3, the application of the anarchist Spyros Mandylas for not defraying the 5.000 deposit was examined. Within almost half an hour, the court, whose names will be published in another update, refused to accept it and decided, following a suggestion made by the prosecutor, THE REDUCE OF THE AMOUNT TO 2000 EUROS. These judges barely allowed (following the perseverance of Mandylas lawyer) both the defense witness and the lawyer himself to be heard, handling the hearing in a procedural manner. It was also obvious that they had not even bothered to read the application before the beginning of the hearing.
The comrade, as has said many times, didn’t nor does he intend to stop the hunger strike as the deposit has not been completely erased. Therefore, having this in mind, plus the fact that he is on the 52nd day of hunger strike, his health state will soon destabilize completely, certainly resulting HIS DEATH.
All possible legal “loopholes” have been used and we now face the “legal exhaustion” of the case. We hope that during the next days there will not be written a black page in the history of anarchy with a dead anarchist fighter as a protagonist…
In addition, we indicate the trial of false information’s leak regarding the ending of Spyros Mandylas’ hunger strike after a try of phone briefing made by comrades in solidarity about his state of health.
